Text2Speech

Text2Speech is a Windows application that you can use to type any text and hear it spoken out loud by a computer voice. Also, it gives you the possibility to record the voice and send it via email.
For example, you can record an audio card to send someone birthday wishes or just to remind friends of important upcoming events. It features intuitive options that can be handled with ease, even by those who haven't experimented with this type of software before.

Java-based tool with an intuitive GUI

The only notable aspect about installation is that you should have Java installed on your PC. As far as the interface is concerned, the tool adopts a user-friendly window with an approachable layout and elegant appearance.
On the top side of the window is an empty box where you can type or paste text and click Say to hear it spoken by the robotic voice. Additional options become available by double-clicking an entry in the list.

Hear a computer voice read your text and share MP3 tracks

A box pops up on the screen, where you can ask Text2Speech to speak the text again, create an MP3 audio file of the spoken text and send it to someone by email, remove the selected text from the list, or remove everything.
Furthermore, it's possible to turn the program startup and shutdown sound on or off (Sound menu), as well as to choose another language for speaking the text into (bottom part of the screen). The default one is set to your system locale, but can be changed to over 100 other languages.

All things considered, Text2Speech offers a fast and easy-to-use method for setting a computer voice to read personalized text out loud in any language as well as to record it to MP3 file format and send it to someone. Command lines are supported.
Unfortunately, it doesn't support Windows 10 (the app failed to speak text out loud in our tests). Also, it doesn't integrate an option for saving the MP3 track without having to send it via email.
