The World Clock - Time Zones Description
The World Clock - Time Zones is a desktop application made for Windows computers, which shows the current time in numerous countries from all over the world.
It features a search function to quickly look up local times in a specific city, and it gives you the possibility to customize the date and time format displayed.
Requires .NET Framework to work
Installing this program doesn't take long. However, you should have .NET Framework on your PC, because the tool was built with the aid of Microsoft's software framework.
When it comes to the interface, The World Clock - Time Zones opts for a clean window with a neatly structured layout. On the top side of the panel, you can select which part of the world you'd like to view cities from by choosing from Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Australia / Pacific, Europe, or the whole world.
Sort locations by city or country
All cities will be automatically listed, along with their local time and date registered at the moment. Data gets automatically updated every minute. In some cases, you might have to wait for the app to finish loading the date and time details, depending on the cities.
Information displayed can be sorted by city or country from the menu placed on the upper-left corner of the window. What's more, you can quickly locate a specific location by entering a city's name on the upper part of the window (partial matches are not accepted), as well as configure settings from the upper-right corner. It's possible to customize display options when it comes to the date and time format. Make sure to click Save to apply modifications.
Simple tool for viewing worldwide time zones by city
To sum it up, The World Clock - Time Zones delivers a quick solution for quickly checking the current time in many cities from all over the world, straight from your desktop. Unfortunately, it had trouble with data initialization in our tests.
