Ticno Uninstaller Description
Most software components make changes to your computer and registry entries in order to provide the right functionality. However, too many applications can create conflicts, and it’s recommended to remove those you don’t really need. In case the Windows uninstaller doesn’t really tickle your fancy, you might want to try out Ticno Uninstaller.
Find items manually or through the search bar
You first need to go through a setup process to make the application work, but it doesn’t put a strain on performance on stability. It’s possible to have it launched right afterwards, but it can take a little while for it to detect all installed items, mostly if they are consistent, or too many.
It comes with a custom-made interface which looks pretty good on any kind of style, while also keeping accommodation efforts to a minimum. A list shows all installed items, with the possibility to scroll down to identify the ones of interest, but you can also find them through the built-in search box, which adds a lot to practicality.
Doesn’t scan for any possible leftovers
Hovering the cursor over an entry displays the total size. However, the application doesn’t really make an effort to show advanced details, such as path, importance, or even date installed. The list is pretty straightforward, so you need to know exactly what you want to remove.
Triggering the uninstall process isn’t really a particular feature of the application, and only opens up the default uninstall dialog of any program. More than this, it doesn’t scan your computer for leftovers, so you might need to manually hunt down any remaining files, which can become a time-consuming operation.
On an ending note
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Ticno Uninstaller comes with good intentions, but it isn’t really anything more than a fancy window from which to remove installed programs. Items are removed through the default uninstaller, and it doesn’t scan your PC for leftovers.
