Time Duration Calculator is a lightweight and effective piece of software whose main purpose is to help you determine the precise time interval between two specified dates, down to the hour, minute and second.

Neatly-structured user interface

The program is fairly easy to handle, as it provides you with a straight-forward  though rather basic appearance, which makes it quite approachable even for computer novices.
The utility resorts to a tabbed interface in order to allow you to easily switch between its sections, namely ‘Interval’, ‘Addition’ and ‘Subtraction’.

Calculate the distance between two points in time

Using the ‘Interval’ tab, you can select a date and hour as ‘Start Time’, then input the preferred ‘End Time’, supporting even minutes and seconds. Afterward, you can click on the ‘Calculate’ button and learn the precise duration between the two calendar dates, including the decimal equivalent in days, minutes or weeks.
The ‘Addition’ section enables you to learn the exact date and hour after a user-defined amount of time were to pass, while the ‘Subtraction’ tab works in reverse, by helping you discover how long ago a certain event occurred based on the time that has gone by since.
While Time Duration Calculator is able to perform these calculations, it does not support saving or exporting the results to a file, to be used on a different occasion. At best, you can copy them individually to clipboard and paste them in a document.
