BMClock is a reliable and comprehensive piece of software that enhances your desktop with an intuitive and useful alarm clock. It displays detailed information about the local time and date.
Since it synchronizes with your system date and time settings, it will immediately recognize the month and the current day of the week.
The main window of BMClock is very simple and easy to work with. Although the program does not come with an advanced functionality, it enables you to set everyday alarms and get notified about important tasks, activities and meetings. It provides you with two buttons namely ‘Alarm options’ and ‘Options’ that help you to configure the utility the way you want.
By accessing the first button, the application enables you to set a new alarm by selecting the date and specifying the time when you want to get notified. Additionally, you can thick the ‘Remind me everyday’ button and set a description to the current event.
After that, you need to press the ‘Activate/deactivate the event’ button or simply reset the current alarm. When the time reaches its end, BMClock will display a small window in the right corner of your screen, along with a basic alarm sound. Still, a drawback of the program is that you cannot set multiple alarm events.
You can access the Options button if you want to set a key shortcut and easily open or redirect the program to the System Tray area. It works silently in the background and each time the hotkey is triggered, it will immediately appear on your desktop.
Overall, BMClock is a simple, yet effective application worth having when you need to view the current date and time in a more intuitive way, as well as set everyday alarms to get notified about your important tasks.
