Timer Description

As you may find out just by reading its name, Timer is a very lightweight Windows on-screen stopwatch that comes with a few handy utilities.
The interface is minimal and only shows you the timer, so it's basically impossible not to figure out how to use it.
Still, there are a few things to be mentioned, especially since there's no help manual available.
Because there are no dedicated time controls available in the main window of the app, users are required to simply click on the timer to start the stopwatch. Clicking it again pauses the timer, while another click resets the clock and starts it again.
One of the good things about Timer is that it can be entirely controlled via keyboard, with the options screen allowing users to configure a dedicated hotkey used for starting and stopping the timer. Additionally, you can configure the format and enable the app to stay on top all the time.
It's no surprise since it's such a basic application, but it's worth mentioning that Timer works on very low resources and doesn't affect system performance. Last but not least, it has no problem to deal with any Windows version on the market.
As you can see, Timer is very basic and you don't have to be a computer guru to use it. The lack of more advanced features however may disappoint some of those more experienced. Rookies are the ones that may enjoy this tiny program, mostly because it's so easy to use.
