Tinuous Description
Tenuous is a lightweight application designed to help users convert images to various file formats and perform several photo editing operations.
The tool sports a clean and simple layout that offers quick access to the files and folders stored in the computer, so you can quickly select the ones to be processed.
Tenuous gives users the possibility to select the saving directory and output format, namely BMP, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, or GIF file format.
What’s more, you can choose the compression level, shrink images while maintain their ratio aspect, rotate the photos to different angles, save the current settings, rename files, as well as enable the edge sharpening option.
The application comes packed with several advanced options which are built specifically for helping you adjust the levels of brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue. Plus, you can preview the results and activate the auto-correct feature.
Tenuous offers support for batch processing, which means you can add multiple photos and convert them at the same time.
During our testing we have noticed that Tenuous accomplishes a task very quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It manages to remain light on the system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
To sum things up, Tenuous comes packed with a handy set of parameters for helping you convert and edit images but some of them are not very intuitive, and less experienced users may spend some time trying to configure them.
