Titan Browser Description
Titan Browser aims to provide you with a fast and secure Internet navigator that allows quick access to your favorite webpages. Based on the Chromium engine, it brings together enhanced browsing speed and improved security features to improve the overall user experience.
What sets Titan Browser apart from other utilities in its category is that it doesn't allow toolbars or addons to be installed, trying to protect you from the ever-increasing amount of online threats. On the downside, rejecting addons right from the start means that you cannot customize the browser and add it new functionality using extensions.
Aside from this extra security feature, Titan Browser is no different than Chrome. It features the same minimalistic, tab-based interface that allows you to access multiple webpages simultaneously. As expected, it bundles a bookmark manager and comes with history logging capabilities and a download management utility.
Development tools are also available, enabling one to view the source code of the visited webpage or disable JavaScript. Just like in Chrome, more processes are started when you access multiple websites, so if a webpage crashes, you have the possibility to close just the corresponding tab, rather than the browser itself.
Titan Browser focuses on protecting your privacy during browsing sessions and therefore, it borrows the 'Incognito Mode' feature from Chromium. This mode does not impose any restrictions to the user, but it automatically deletes cookies and browsing history at the end of the session. User management tools, autofill options, certificate checking are some of the other advantages that this navigator brings you.
Considering the above, we could say that the only distinctive feature of Titan Browser is the lack of the extension management section. While this might be a good thing for beginners who don't have the knowledge to filter the content they download and install, advanced users might not be pleased by the fact that they are not granted the choice to customize their browser.
