ToDo Vista Gadget

ToDo Vista Gadget is a lightweight app which gives you the possibility of making up a to do list directly on your desktop, thus simplifying your daily activities. It can be easily installed and configured, even by inexperienced users.
The interface of the gadget is based on a small frame which you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.
So, all you have to do is increase the size of the frame which resembles a yellow notepad, in order to type in a new task.
Recording a task is automatically done after pressing the 'Enter' key, after which you can write a new one; these are numbered in the list. Plus, it is possible to change the color of a task (e.g. the font).
Unfortunately, ToDo Vista Gadget does not integrate its own settings. But, thanks to the operating system, you can open the right-click menu to alter some options. For instance, you can make the frame stay on top of other windows as well as adjust its opacity level between 20% and 100%.
The lightweight tool does not put a strain on the computer's resource, since it uses a low quantity of system memory and CPU. It has proven a good response time and worked smoothly during our evaluation, without causing Windows to freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, users with no experience in software applications can seamlessly figure out how to work with ToDo Vista Gadget. Unfortunately, no recent updates have been made.
