UniConv Description

The computer provides a great deal of accuracy, in everything it performs. Specialized applications help with different designs and calculus, skipping you time, effort, and reducing chances of error. For instance, UniConv allows you to instantly perform unit conversion, with various preset dimensions.

Can be used on the go

A neat advantage is the application can be used directly from a USB flash drive, since it requires no installation in order to function. Apart from flexibility, portability also means that system registries don’t need to be modified for the application to work, thus keeping the target PC intact.
The main window can feel a little rough around the edges, with multiple columns of data, and value fields you need to go through. What’s more, some units are abbreviated, and unless you know what you’re up against, you might miss some values.

Multiple dimensions with customization options

By default, the application comes with an impressive variety of dimensions, such as angle, bytes, charge, flow, force, geometry, length, maths, temperature, pressure, time, velocity, volume, weight, and some others. A neat thing is you can access the standard factors list, just to get an idea of how these evolve.
Format options like auto, scientific, fixed, or grouped, as well as number of decimals to be displayed add more accuracy to the process. Results are shown in real time, with up to six different format options on how to copy results.
The application also gives you the possibility to modify all values and dimensions you get to work with. This is all done by modifying raw data in Notepad, so it’s best to create a backup if you’re not really feeling up to the task.

To sum it up

All things considered, we come to the conclusion that UniConv is a practical application which saves you a lot of time when you need to perform unit conversion. You’re free to modify dimensions and factors as you see fit, and different formats to copy transformation results make it worth your while.
