VCard Splitter

VCard Splitter is a lightweight and portable application that, as the name implies, allows you to split electronic business cards (vCard format) into single vCard files for each contact.
It does not include advanced settings, so the tool can be handled even by users with limited or no experience in software applications.
Since installation is not a requirement, you can drop the executable file somewhere on the hard disk and click it to run.
It is also possible to save VCard Splitter to a pen drive or external hard drive, in order to run it on any workstation with minimum effort.
What's important to keep in mind is that portable utilities do not add new entries to the Windows registry or Start menu.
VCard Splitter is wrapped in a plain and simple GUI, consisting of a small window with two buttons for pointing out the source file and output directory using a file browser and tree view, respectively. Initializing the cutting procedure is done with the simple click of a button. The tool does not integrate any other options.
VCard Splitter is not a concern to the computer's overall performance, as it runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM. It is very responsive to commands and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation. All in all, VCard Splitter serves its purpose. Too bad the app does not implement customization preferences.
