Vembu BDR Server Description
Vembu BDR Suite is a business-oriented software solution that seeks to cater to the data backup and recovery needs of diverse IT environments. It offers multiple deployment options, such as offsite, cloud, on-premise and hybrid cloud.
It can be used as a backup and recovery solution for virtualized data centers, servers, desktops and laptops, as well as file servers and various applications like Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Sharepoint and Active Directory.
Vembu BDR Server is designed to function as a common server that accepts backups from the available client and proxy agents, as well as a centralized management portal that can be accessed from a standard web browser.
This software utility aims to make it easier for your to deploy the optional components, and it enables you to manage your backups from a single web-based interface.
To begin with, you need to set up the Vembu BDR Backup Server, which can interface with all of the available backup modules. The required components, such as MySQL and MongoDB, are downloaded and installed automatically, and you only need to configure certain parameters.
Once installed, the server can be accessed from the Vembu BDR Suite Server Web UI using a standard web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. All the available components can then be deployed from the web portal.
The server can interface with the Vembu VMBackup, Vembu ImageBackup and Vembu NetworkBackup client/proxy agents. After deploying any of these applications, you only need to provide the backup server’s IP address, and then configure the operations to be performed.System requirementsMySQL
