Watermark Description
Watermark is a small software application whose purpose is to help you embed photo watermarks to your pictures. The tool can be deployed on all Windows versions out there, provided that you have the Java working environment installed on the target computer.
Requires no installation
You do not have to go through an installation process in order to gain access to the program’s GUI because the app is portable. A double-click on the executable file does the job.
You may keep it stored on pen drives or other portable devices so you can take it with you all the time. Plus, you may run it without administrative privileges. The utility can be opened straight from the storage device on the host PC.
In case you no longer need it, you may get rid of it with a simple deletion task of the files that you have downloaded from the Internet because it does not affect your Windows registry and leave other setup files behind.
Simplistic looks and a few configuration settings
Watermark does not impress much in the visual department. It reveals a plain design that incorporates only a few tweaking parameters. All functions are implemented into a single window so it’s pretty easy for you to set them up. On the downside, you cannot preview images in the main panel.
The application offers you the possibility to import pictures using only the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not on the feature list). What’s more, you can add a custom picture watermark and set the position of the watermark (bottom right or center).
There’s no support for batch actions so you cannot process multiple photos at the same time. The edited image can be exported to a file on your computer. Tests have pointed out that Watermark carries out a task quickly and without errors. It remains light on system resources.
Final words
All in all, if you are looking for nothing more than a simple software solution for adding photo watermarks to your images, you may give Watermark a try and see what it can do for you.
