WiFiRemotes Server Description
Controlling the computer from the other corner of the room can be pretty comfortable in some cases. WiFiRemotes Server touts achieving this feat by using a supported mobile device (Android, Blackberry and some models from Nokia, Samsung and LG).
Quick and simple installation
The application works by connecting the server, which is installed on the PC, with the client, which is installed on the mobile device.
Getting the server on the system is a simple job that takes less than 20 seconds to complete. Keep in mind that the program needs to initiate a connection outside the PC and some firewalls may impose a restriction for this activity.
Overly simple interface
The interface is extremely simple and makes available only the name of the system and the internal IP address. These details are important because they are required when the client on the mobile phone is started.
When the connection with the client has been established the user should be able to control the computer from the mobile phone. Even if all the input is touch-based controlling the computer should be accomplished easily.
For the entire setup to work the users need to have a compatible phone equipped with the appropriate client and the two devices to be in the same LAN (local area network).
PC control from the mobile phone
WiFiRemotes Server is only half of the deal but it installs with no effort and there aren’t any settings to make things complicated. Simply use the data it provides on the client in order to have access to the PC through the mobile phone.
