WinAlarm Description
WinAlarm is a simple-to-use application that enables you to schedule multiple alarms on your computer. It may be used by individuals of any level of experience.
The interface of the program is based on a standard window. So, you can add a new alarm and write a note, specify the date and time when to trigger it, as well as set up a reminder (before and/or after the alarm goes off).
On top of that, you can schedule the alarm to be triggered on specific days of the week, on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. In other words, you can easily prepare alarms for waking up every day to go to work, or for birthdays, for example.
Alarms can be edited or deleted from the list. The queue shows the date, time, day and content for each entry. From the 'Options' screen, you can set WinAlarm to hide alarms and the reminder, enable a window for expert users, make the frame stay on top of other windows, as well as customize the viewing mode (e.g. background color, window title).
Furthermore, you can browse your computer for audio files to be used as alarm sounds, import and export data, enable a shortcut for the main application window, as well as restore all settings to their default values, among others.
The easy-to-use app has a good response time, includes user's guide and runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. We have not come across any issues during our tests; WinAlarm did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, less experienced users may quickly learn how to work with this program. No recent updates have been made.
