Windows Double Explorer Description
Managing large amount of files can be a pain especially if opening multiple windows is implied. Luckily, there are applications that offer a helping hand in browsing though your computer, and Windows Double Explorer makes no exception.
Straightforward and easy to use
The main window itself is nothing more than an explorer with several more options. One of the main advantages is the fact that no visual effects or custom design make you spend time learning your way around, because you feel at home from the first mouse click. A “Known Folders†tab provides quick access to some of the most important folders from your computer.
Customize the workspace
Two layout options are available to choose from. This mainly splits the explorer either horizontally or vertically. Furthermore, with the press of a button you can switch it to a single explorer window.
More tabs can be opened in each section, making it suitable for network navigation. In addition, if tabs are not comfortable enough, the application gives you the possibility to open up an independent main window, for more quick access points. Seeing how this is possible, it would have been useful to be able to split the main window even more, other than running another instance of the application.
Moreover, if your work involves going through the same folders over and over again, you are able to set favorites, and once you run the application they are accessible with a simple mouse click.
To end with
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Windows Double Explorer lives up to the expectations. It is considerably useful when organizing your files and folders so you don't have to open up a lot of new windows.
