WordInn Dictionary Description

WordInn Dictionary is simplistic program that provides an English dictionary to users, along with other interesting features. It can be seamlessly handled, even by less experienced individuals.
The interface of the app is based on a standard window where you can type in a word to find out its definition in the 'English dictionary', along with its part of speech and an example used in a sentence.
Other features of WordInn Dictionary let you look-up words on 'Google Dictionary', 'Google Images' and 'Wikipedia'. Therefore, you must have an active Internet connection if you want to use these additional features.
Furthermore, you can find out how a word is pronounced, by using 'Google Voice' or the standard speech tool provided by Microsoft ('Anna').
Moreover, you can view a history list of words you have looked up, translate text into other languages via 'Google Translate', and listen to entire sentences via 'Reader' with the help of 'Microsoft Anna' (it is also possible to adjust the speech speed).
From the 'Options' area you can set WordInn Dictionary to automatically run at Windows startup and enable click monitoring (e.g. open the dictionary on double-click). Plus, you can set hotkeys for the dictionary, translator and reader (quick open) and change the text font style, size and attribute (Bold).
WordInn Dictionary supports multiple languages for the interface, has a good response time and uses a very low amount of CPU and system memory. The app did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs during our tests.
On the downside, the most irritating thing about the tool is that it automatically minimizes to the system tray, even when you switch to another window (this option cannot be changed). Otherwise, WordInn Dictionary mostly relies on external tools and provides little functions of its own. No recent updates have been made.
