In case you are also among those who like to indulge themselves with a bit of action once in a while, you know how important it is to keep in good shape the installation discs for the titles you play.
Whenever it is possible, it is recommended to create backups for each CD or DVD and Xbox 360 games are no different. In case you already have them stored safely onto your computer as ISO images, it is possible to bring some modifications to the archives using a dedicated utility.
One of the tools of this kind that you can try is called X360 Xplorer and comes in a really lightweight package. Capable to run right out of the box, without requiring installation or any complex configurations, this program will bring you a bit closer to the data saved inside a disc image.
Through a simple interface, which offers plenty of space for viewing the details of each file that is part of the selected ISO image, you will be able to also edit the data. The extraction can be easily done thanks to a built-in module that you will find if you access the 'Tools' menu of X360 Xplorer.
For every game image you add inside the application, there are several details concerning the ISO that can be read in a box on the upper left side of the main window. Thus, you can check out, besides the image name, the root sector, length and image size.
Insofar as the files that are part of the ISO archive are concerned, there are several properties on display, namely their full name, start and size hex values as well as the physical dimension. On the whole, X360 Xplorer seems to provide a welcomed functionality in a quite easy to use form for everyone.
