XMLengine is a powerful and versatile middle ware that shreds data from XML documents into relational database. The behavior of the XMLengine is controlled by 2 configuration files. User can change the behavior of the XMLengine by changing config information, without recompilation and redeployment. The data hierarchy and the stored procedure definitions are represented in 2 config files. Using XPath, each node in XML is mapped to the hierarchy and stored procedure parameters in the config file. Version 1.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
