ZTimer Description
ZTimer is a small desktop enhancement utility designed with an overall simplicity in mind in order to help you time your activities with the aid of stopwatch.
Minimalistic looks
You are welcomed by a small and simple panel that embeds only a few dedicated parameters that you can work with. Everything is kept as basic as possible, so tweaking the dedicated parameters proves to be an easy task.
How it works
Basically, it proves to be nothing more than a piece of cake to work with this utility, as it embeds only a few dedicated buttons in the primary panel for controlling the stopwatch. You may start, stop or pause the stopwatch and make the application remain on top of other windows.
What’s more, ZTimer reveals the time in hours and minutes in the primary panel. Additionally, if you hover the mouse cursor over the stopwatch, the tool reveals the time in hours, minutes, and seconds.
On the downside, there is no support for advanced features that could help you use hotkeys for a better control over the entire process and record the time results in the main window.
Performance
Since it doesn’t require much computer knowledge to set up the dedicated parameters, even less experienced users can learn to master the entire process in no time. During our testing we have noticed that ZTimer carries out a task quickly and without errors. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
Bottom line
To sum things up, ZTimer proves to be a simple clock and time management program that comes bundled with basic functions for helping you work with a stopwatch.
