Audio Splitter

Audio Splitter is a very simple program designed to help users cut audio tracks into smaller pieces. It offers support for a wide range of formats, such as MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAV, M4A and OGG.
Thanks to its general ease of use, it can be handled even by novices or people with no previous experience in audio editing software.
The installation procedure is done quickly and with minimum effort. Audio Splitter is wrapped in a user-friendly interface, based on regular window with a plain layout that shouldn't be difficult to navigate.
Tracks can be opened by using the file browser only, since drag-and-drop support is not featured.
So, all you have to do is specify the start and end time values (in hours, minutes and seconds), along with the output directory to start the conversion procedure.
There are no other notable options provided by this program. Accurate seeking is available only in the pro edition. Unfortunately, it is not possible to specify milliseconds, play the audio stream to cut the track with accuracy and by marking the start and end position as well, nor to establish the output file name.
Audio Splitter contains a few themes for the interface in addition to a help file. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It carries out a task quickly and preserves the original audio quality. However, there are more resourceful utilities available for cutting audio tracks.
