Big Numbers Calculator Description
Made as a tiny and portable software application for Windows users, Big Numbers Calculator offers a simple solution to perform arithmetic, bitwise and base conversion operations over big integers.
It comes loaded with just a few options that can be easily figured out, even if you don't have previous experience with such tools.
No setup necessary
Since installation is not required, you can save the app's executable file anywhere on the HDD and immediately launch Big Numbers Calculator. This is also possible when copying it to a removable storage device to run it on any PC you come in contact with. Unlike most installers, it doesn't alter Windows registry settings.
Plain and simple interface
The GUI is simple and lets you perform conversions right in the main application window. You can toggle between decimal, hexadecimal and binary mode, specify the first and second number, establish the number of bits to shift the result to, indicate the prime numbers, as well as generate a random number by defining the range bits. Conversion operations are executed with one click.
Evaluation and conclusion
CPU and RAM consumption was minimal throughout our evaluation, so the tool didn't hamper system performance. It carried out conversion jobs swiftly without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors.
Although it doesn't implement rich options and customization settings, Big Numbers Calculator is fast and reliable for making conversion operations over big integers. Its interface could use some improvements in the visual department.
