Bull's Guitar Tuner

Bull's Guitar Tuner is a lightweight software application developed specifically for helping you tune your guitar by ear. The tool offers support for standard tuning options. It can be installed on all Windows versions out there.
In order to run the utility correctly and avoid bumping into all sorts of errors, you need install DIRECTX 8.1 runtime environment on the target computer.

Simple looks

After a fast and straightforward installation process where you only need to press on a few ‘Next’ buttons in order to accomplish the task, you are welcomed by a clean interface. All configuration parameters are integrated into a single panel so they are basically placed at your fingertips.
There’s no support for a help manual. However, you do not need one to decode its configuration parameters because they look easy to work with.

Tune your guitar

Bull's Guitar Tuner gives you the possibility to perform a single click on the target chord in order to hear the corresponding sound. No setup options are hidden under the hood.
The application comes packed only with basic features so it does not let you work with advanced options. Advanced users may be disappointed by program’s poor support for guitar tuning options.
You are not allowed to activate other types of tuning modes (except for the standard mode), like Baritone, D Minor, Slow Motion, Overtone, and Open E, set a delay, and adjust the volume, just to name some options.
Bull's Guitar Tuner does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer is not affected. On the downside, it has not been updated for a long time so it may cause compatibility issues on newer operating systems. We have tested it on Windows 8.1 Pro and come across several crashes.
