This tool was developed because many of CFABS telecom clients receive their payment data across more than one report, CFABS wanted an easy way to quickly merge such reports together so clients could have an overview of all their order information paid across multiple reports. Often such reports will have the same column headers but in different positions on each report. This tool merges separate excel reports into one, turning a job which used to take a couple of hours of visual copy paste checks, into a very quick automated routine. The problem that people have when merging spreadsheets is that the Headers are often the same but not in the same columns. For example Customer ID might be in Column A for the first spreadsheet but in Column Z for another. This causes many delays when looking for the same information in both spreadsheets. This software can merge two or more spreadsheets and align all of the headers to the correct positions so that the same information can be displayed to the user from all of the spreadsheets as easily as possible. These spreadsheets will merge into 1 where, the program will match the headers, for all Headers that match the data should be sorted under the header according to which spreadsheet it came from starting with the first spreadsheet. In the case that one or more headings do not match the program will create a new heading which will contain any data from the column which did not merge successfully.
