EmEditor Notes

EmEditor Notes is a small and simplistic widget that you can use to write notes on your desktop. It was designed with the purpose of running it side-by-side with EmEditor.
This way, you can work in EmEditor and write notes in this widget whenever you get a new idea, so you can further develop it through the word processing program. The widget is simple to install and set up, even by less experienced users.
The interface of EmEditor Notes is made from a small, rectangular-shaped window that resembles a sticky note, having a yellow background. You can move it to any position on the screen with the help of the mouse cursor.
You can write text in the respective note and clear it with the simple click of a button. From the Settings area it is possible to change the background color (to blue, green, pink, purple or white), select a different font name than Tahoma (Arial, Courier New, Segoe Print, Script or UI), as well as to establish the font size.
There are no other options provided by EmEditor Notes, aside from accessing EmEditor to immediately edit your notes in the complex word processor. For example, you cannot create multiple notes or save them to file.
Thanks to the default settings provided by Windows, you can access the right-click menu to increase the frame size (thus, enlarging the writing space), make it stay on top of other windows, as well as to adjust its opacity (between 20% and 100%).
EmEditor Notes is very low-demanding in regard to the CPU and system memory, thus it doesn't affect the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time and ran smoothly in our tests, without making the OS hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, first-time users can easily work with EmEditor Notes, with or without EmEditor.
