Finger

Finger is a small and simple-to-use software application that enables you to get ahold of user information through the Finger service in just a few steps.
It does not come equipped with advanced settings, making it suitable for all user levels.
The installation procedure takes little time to finish and does not require special attention from the user. Once it is done, you can run the app to view a user-friendly interface, consisting of a standard window with a plain and uncomplicated structure, where you can input a Finger query and click a button to retrieve information rapidly.
It is possible to copy information to the Clipboard by using the global Copy keyboard shortcut or by clicking its entry in the context menu of selected text. There are no other notable options provided by this utility. For example, you cannot print information or save it to file.
Finger runs on a very low quantity of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the computer's overall performance. Since it can be minimized to the taskbar, it does not interfere in normal user activity either. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the program did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
Although it does not come equipped with resourceful features, Finger provides a simple solution when it comes to using the Finger service to retrieve user information. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, even users with limited experience in networking tools can quickly figure out Finger.
