HiBand

HiBand is a network application that helps users monitor bandwidth, search for domain names, and perform ping operations.
It boasts a clean and straightforward layout that gives users the possibility to view the bandwidth information graphically displayed, gather information about the average download and upload speed, and select the connection type.
HiBand allows you to test the reachability of a host on IP network, collect data about a domain name, view a list with the currently opened ports, resolve domain name to IP address or vice versa, as well as use the port scanner tool for verifying security policies of networks.
Other important features worth mentioning allow you to generate a list with open connections using nestat and optimize your Internet speed and performance by activating the acceleration function.
Last but not least, you can view TCP, IP, UDP, or ICMP statistics (e.g. timeout algorithm, received address errors, failed attempts, established connections, received datagrams), and configure the adapter parameters (e.g. type, address, default gateway).
During our testing we have noticed that the program carries out a task very quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It manages to remain light on the system resources, so it doesn’t hamper computer performance, nor interfere with other applications’ functionality.
To sum it up, HiBand offers useful features for helping you perform various network monitoring operations. Although it cannot be considered the most powerful network utility on the market, as it lacks advanced features, its intuitive layout and handy parameters make it an ideal tool for less experienced users.
