splits either by size or number of files;
supports files up to 4GB in size;
can split to any size up to 2GB and directly to any writeable media (via drive letter access);
can restore from the created '.BAT' file, making it unnecessary for File Splitter to be installed on the destination machine;
compares checksums on restoration and advises if there are differences which may suggest corrupt files;
is integrated with Windows Explorer, allowing quick 'Send To' and one click restore;
allows you to set default folders and split sizes;
displays the number of split files to be created based on the split size selected; or
displays the size of each split file based on the number of split files selected;
can restore direct from the writeable media, negating the need to copy the split pieces to the hard drive first;
can set the original file time to the restored file;
can delete the split pieces upon successful restoration;
provides full install/uninstall support.
