JPG to PDF Description

JPG to PDF is a simple-to-use command-line utility designed to merge multiple JPEG files into a single PDF document by placing each photo on one page.
It doesn't have configuration settings and can be easily handled even by those with no previous experience in console applications. The program runs without Adobe Acrobat or other PDF software.

How it works

Its .exe file has to be copied to the directory which contains the JPEG photos you're attempting to combine. All JPEGs are automatically taken into account and cannot be filtered by name, while any other files with different extensions are ignored. For example, if the folder contains 10 JPEG files, then the PDF file is created using all ten images (one per page).
Although this isn't mentioned by JPG to PDF, the pictures are stretched to fit the page and there is no option implemented for keeping the original size. The PDF file is created in the same location and receives the name of the directory. It's not possible to set a custom saving directory or different filename.
The original JPEGs are left untouched, so there's no need to create backups before using this application.

No installation required

The entire tool's wrapped in a single .exe file that can be copied to a preferred directory on the disk or stored on a USB flash drive to directly run it on any machine without setup by just double-clicking the file or calling its process from a Command Prompt window.
It doesn't need libraries or other components to work properly, integrate new entries into your system registry, or create files on the HDD without your knowledge. To remove it, you simply have to delete its executable.

Conclusion

To sum it up, JPG to PDF offers a speedy solution for joining JPEG photographs into a single PDF document, making it possible to easily deconstruct the PDF and extract the photos afterward. CPU and RAM usage was minimal in our tests.
