keFIR provides music producers and sound engineers with a zero-latency FIR filter effect designed to help them enhance their tracks and generate astonishing sounds.
This efficient audio plugin can be used as an impulse loader, allowing you to apply cabinet emulation on a signal with no latency, which makes it perfect for live performances or recording sessions.
Unlike other similar plugins out there, it does not offer complex configuration options, trying to keep things simple for beginner users. keFIR provides support for WAV, SND and AIFF sample formats and it can handle almost any impulse response loaded from wave files, which makes the usage possibilities unlimited.
keFIR can process mono and stereo signals, enabling you to adjust the sound of your music tracks and create great mixes. The filter length can be customized up to a maximum of 32K taps, but note that elevated values result in higher CPU usage.
The plugin displays a simple interface, enabling you to load the desired sound, viewing its waveform and configuring its behavior. The ‘mix’ knob is designed for mixing the input with the output, while the ‘gain’ knob is there to help you perform fine adjustments to the output volume level.
