MJ Lossless Image Zoomer Description

Taking pictures became a pretty common activity since most mobile phones are now fitted with powerful cameras. Needless to say that a viewer needs to be used on the target computer if you want to analyze them after transferring them on your HDD. In case the tool Windows provides doesn’t quite tickle your fancy, maybe MJ Lossless Image Zoomer has a better chance to impress.

Advantages of a portable app

One good thing about it is the lack of an installer which lets you take it for a spin right after download is complete. Moreover, you can even store it on a thumb drive to always have your own picture viewer at hand, regardless of the computer you’re working on. It leaves no traces in system registry entries, so you can use it without any worries.
On the other hand, it doesn’t come with the option register all supported formats to it, so manual tweaking needs to be done in this regard if necessary. Loading pictures can’t be done through drag and drop either, but the built-in browse dialog lets you select multiple pictures under formats like JPG, JPEG, BMP, ICO, EMF, WMF, and PNG.

Zoom and conversion options

The first picture in your selection is shown to fit in the window size, with the possibility to enforce aspect ratio preservation, or show the picture in actual size. There’s a zoom function you can use to analyze a selected region on the picture, with the possibility to pan once zoomed in.
Navigation is easily done through all loaded pictures, but there’s no menu to show all items. Furthermore, you can save a picture under a different format than the original, which is especially handy considering it supports the ICO format.

On an ending note

In conclusion, MJ Lossless Image Zoomer might not be the fully-fledged picture viewer you’re looking for, but it’s a straightforward approach fitted with a decent variety of pretty practical functions. What’s more, it can even be carried around on a thumb drive.
