MMH Cleaner

MMH Cleaner is a handy Windows free capable of cleaning your system of junk files and history items.
First of all, the application can look for junk files, so you need to define the drive to scan in order to find all items to be removed.
MMH Cleaner looks for all types of temporary files, scan disk error files, log files, Windows help index files, thumbnails and memory dump files, but all of these can be configured from the settings screen.
Of course, you can define exceptions and skipped folders, but also enable the app to scan for invalid shortcuts and skip read-only and system files.
Privacy on the other hand can be further enhanced by cleaning Windows temporary folder, history, recent documents, Windows Clipboard, Media Player and opened and saved file history. Additionally, MMH Cleaner can clean Internet Explorer and various other installed products.
Startup items can be also controlled via a dedicated tab, while the “Processes” tab gives you the option to terminate running processes or view the associated modules.
MMH Cleaner allows you to configure the way it removes files, which means that you can either move them to Recycle Bin or delete them permanently. A third option is also available in order to move the selected items to a specific location.
All things considered, MMH Cleaner is a decent app that comes with a bit of everything, so there still are some things to be improved. It however home with the essential tools and this can be only a very good thing for those who want to optimize system performance with minimum effort.
