New York Minute is an Adobe Air-based application whose purpose is to help you create notes and tasks so you can easily remember important things and events. The utility can be deployed on all Windows flavors out there.

Clean feature lineup

The program sports a straightforward design that allows you keep track of multiple notes and tasks. A help manual is not included in the package but the dedicated parameters look intuitive, so you can decode the settings on your own.

Define new tasks and notes

Tasks and notes can be created by simply providing information about the title and entering details. You can type in data directly in the main window or paste it from the clipboard. In addition, you are allowed to save the selected information to the clipboard so you can easily transfer it into other third-party utilities.
New York Minute gives you the possibility to organize tasks and notes with the aid of user-defined categories and delete the entire information (categories, tasks and notes) from the database. The application carries out a task quickly. However, you should know that it eats up memory resources.

Needs several improvements

On the downside, you are not allowed to assign different colors to notes, set up reminders with audio notifications (e.g. WAV, MP3, OGG) and popup messages, perform searches throughout the database, automatically back up the information to file, configure task priorities, and customize the text in terms of size, font and color, just to name a few suggestions.

To sum it up, New York Minute delivers nothing more than basic features for allowing you to store notes and tasks into custom categories, and is suitable especially for less experienced users.
