This small-sized add-on doesn't only address HTML beginners who cannot yet commit the table, border, tr and td tags to memory but also experienced users who don't want to waste time typing, copying, pasting and then slightly editing the tags for each line in the table.

Copy the DLL file to install the Notepad++ plugin

It's quite a painless process to install Notepad++ Table. You can extract the .dll file from the downloaded archive and move it to the "plugins" directory of Notepad++ after visiting its directory. It doesn't matter whether you have the installer or portable version of the code editor.
Before starting up the application, make sure that your PC is equipped with .NET Framework, since the extension was developed using this software framework. Then you can create HTML tables from the "Plugins" menu of Notepad++.

Set the number of rows and columns

There's only one configuration panel, which looks like a standard .NET Framework form with no extra graphical elements, where you just have to set the number of rows and columns.
You can pick the values from two menus, ranging from 1 to 50. For more than 50 rows and/or columns, simply type the number and click "Ok". The tool immediately inserts the HTML tr and td tags at the cursor's current position, along with the table border. The border width is set to 1 but you can obviously change it.
