Creating a slideshow using the photos stored on you hard disk is a simple task, but it can get a lot easier if you decide to use Photo Mixer.
The application has been developed to enhance the whole slideshow creation process by offering users a great amount of features, including multiple transition effects and customizable settings for each photo.
Although it may seem basic, the interface is actually very well-organized, which means it can be safely used by both rookies and those more experienced.
The main window groups all features in tabs, so you can easily pick images and then jump to transitions, music or video creation.
Photo Mixer works with the most popular image formats on the market, including JPG, BMP, PNG and TIFF, and it lets you configure a number of parameters for each photo, including image duration, transition duration and transition effect.
And speaking of transition effects, there's a dedicated tab just for that, with all effects shown in real-time in an adjacent panel. The music on the other hand can be added thanks to the WAV file support, so you can't use MP3s for your slideshows.
Each slideshow can be saved in the AVI format, with separate fields to let you define the resolution, framerate and compression.
Photo Mixer creates each slideshow almost instantly, but it's still the configuration process that's more important because the final project depends on the settings you make to each photo.
