PicMania

PicMania is a small software application whose purpose is to help you view images in a clutter-free environment. It can be installed on all Windows platforms out there.
In order to run the program correctly and avoid bumping into all sorts of errors, you need to deploy Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or a higher version on the target computer.

Intuitive interface

You are welcomed by a clean and simple GUI that can be decoded in a short amount of time. You cannot appeal to a help manual but you can get an idea about how the utility works on your own.
PicMania lets you import various types of image formats, namely JPG, JPEG, GIF, and BMP. Pictures can be added in the working environment using the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented).

Photo viewing options

The application gives you the possibility to import the content of an entire folder. You can check out a list with the filenames of the imported pictures and preview the content directly in the main window.
What’s more, you are allowed to view the source code of the selected photo. Tests have shown that PicMania carries out a task quickly and without errors. It is friendly with system resources so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
The image viewer is quite simplistic so it does not offer a lot of advanced options to play with. Professionals may be disappointed that it does not allow you to preview images in full screen, zoom in or out of photos, crop or resize items, rename files, rate items, and alter metadata, just to name a few options.
