Pixel Exerciser Description

Pixel Exerciser is a lightweight application designed to identify and fix bad pixels by quickly going through different colors on your LCD screen.
Although it has a set of intuitive options, a bit of experience is required, since there's the risk of damaging your monitor if you don't know its response time when. The refresh rate set in this program shouldn't be lower than the monitor's response time.

Go through the RGB channels to identify stuck pixels

At startup, you're greeted by a small window containing three vertical bars corresponding to the RGB (red, green, blue) channels. Once you allow the application to start the test, it fills the screen with each color, in the specified order.
The default window is tiny, so it would be inconveniently time-consuming to move it to each section of the screen to locate the bad pixels, especially for widescreen owners.
Fortunately, it's possible to set a custom size for the window's width and height, as well as to enter fullscreen mode to simplify the whole task while keeping in mind that rapid color switching might affect your eyesight. The initial refresh rate is set to one second and can be turned into any number of milliseconds.

Cannot work without .NET Framework

The downloaded pack comprises just one .exe file that can be copied anywhere on the disk or stored on a removable storage unit to effortlessly run Pixel Exerciser on any PC to attempt and resolve stuck pixels.
Since it doesn't add or edit registry entries, it doesn't increase the risk of OS stability issues. Plus, no files are generated on the disk without your consent. On the other hand, the tool cannot work without .NET Framework, so you should make sure to download and set it up.

Straightforward tool for detecting bad pixels

Taking into account its approachable options, Pixel Exerciser can be easily handled by those interested in identifying stuck pixels on their screens. However, it should be treated with case to prevent any hardware-level issues.
