Made as the portable counterpart of MD5 Checker, Portable MD5 Checker is a feather-light and approachable application that you can use to calculate the MD5 checksums of muliple files in batch mode, as well as compare any two files by taking into account this particular hash type.

Simple interface and options

When it comes to the interface, the utility adopts a standard window with a simple design and layout, where you can use the file browser to locate, select and add one or more multiple files to the list, in order to compute their MD5 hashes.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine in our testing, running on low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't hang or crash.
