Process Killer Description
Process Killer is a small software application developed specifically for helping you get a list with all processes that are currently running on your computer and terminate multiple ones simultaneously. It is designed as an alternative to Windows Task Manager. The program is compatible with Windows 7 and 8.
Clean and simple layout
You are welcomed by an intuitive design that won’t take much of your time to decode it. All dedicated parameters are integrated into a single panel so it’s pretty easy for you to tweak them.
A help manual is not included in the package. However, you can venture into setting up the entire process on your own.
Kill multiple processes
Process Killer automatically reveals a list with all running programs as soon as you open it. In addition, it provides information about the filename and file path. You may also view details about the properties of each item displayed in the list.
What’s more, you can select multiple processes and terminate them with a single click, refresh the list with applications with ease, open the folder where the utility is stored via Windows Explorer, as well as export the information to plain text file format.
Tests have pointed out that Process Killer carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
Final remarks
To sum things up, Process Killer has to offer basic features for helping you view and close running processes, and is suitable especially for less experienced users. On the downside, there’s no support for advanced options. You are not allowed to monitor CPU and memory usage, keep an eye on disk activity, block entries that run at Windows startup, restart processes, set priorities and affinities, and automatically refresh the list with running processes, just to name some settings.
