Design multi-band Complex FIR filters of the following types:
Parks-McClellan (Equiripple).
Windowed Sinc.
Lth-Band.
Raised Cosine.
Maxflat.
Import.
Boxcar.
ScopeFIR also provides a variety of tools that automate the design process, including a powerful optimization feature that finds the minimum number of taps that meets your design specification, while automatically constraining the number of taps using criteria you set.
Analyze FIR filters by:
Examining the actual band ripple and attenuation values in the Band Editor.
Plotting the Frequency Response.
Plotting the Impulse Response.
Viewing the coefficients in the Coefficient Editor. ScopeFIR lets you view the Inphase and/or Quadrature coefficients in decimal, binary or hex formats.
Modify FIR filters by:
Scaling.
Quantizing.
Mixing.
Converting to Minimum Phase.
Editing.
Convolving.
Zero-Stuffing, Zero-Padding, and Truncating.
Selecting a Polyphase Sub-filter.
Interface with your compiler or other programs by:
Reading and writing Real or Complex FIR filter coefficients as text, C arrays, or in any of Iowegian’s large number of common data file formats.
