Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Design is a comprehensive application that allows you to test and analyze the performance and rating calculations of shell/heat exchangers. The program allows you to estimate and design the required installations, based on chemical properties of the raw materials you use.
Step by step project analysis
Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Design allows you to work with existing projects, as well as with new sheets, in Design or Rating mode. Moreover, it offers support for both S.I. Units and English (U.S.) units of measurement.
The values may be manually entered in the project configuration or loaded from *.xml and *.xls or *.xlsx files. The results are generated and exported to data sheets or as PDFs.
One of the software’s notable features is the wizard-like structure, which allows you to calculate the results for each step of the process. Moreover, the program can indicate the areas where the results exceed the regular limits so that you may avoid errors in further steps.
Calculate parameters and estimate results
Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Design can automate several calculations, but it also allows you to switch to manual measurement configuration. The Design projects feature 14 steps while, in the Rating mode the process takes eight stages.
