Shutdown Timer Description
Shutdown Timer is yet another program designed to turn off your computer. This tool is useful if, for example, you want your system to automatically log off after finishing a download task.
This is a portable product, so installing Shutdown Timer is not necessary. It means that you can store the tool on a removable drive, plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file. What's more important is that your Windows registry keys will not be changed.
The interface of the application is based on a standard window in which you have limited options at your disposal. So, you can select the power management function between shutdown (normal or forced), log off and reboot.
All you have to do is schedule the date and time, and initiate the task by clicking the "Run" button. Furthermore, you can view the current and remaining time.
The simple-to-use application requires a very low amount of system resources, has a good response time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. There is no help file available but that's because Shutdown Timer can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
All in all, Shutdown Timer comes equipped with the necessary and suffice elements for shutting down, logging off or rebooting your computer and we recommend it to all users, especially novices.
