STDU Viewer Portable

This is the portable edition of STDU Viewer - a software application which enables you to view the content of some of the most popular file formats, such as PDF, TXT, DjVu and XPS. It addresses all types of users, even those with little or no experience in such tools.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can store STDU Viewer Portable on a USB flash drive or other similar storage unit, and run it on any computer. Therefore, you can keep the app in your pocket whenever you're on the move.
As an alternative, you can simply drop the program files in any directory on the hard drive and run the executable file directly.
What's more important is that the Windows Registry section does not get updated with new entries, and files are not left behind on the hard drive after program removal.
The GUI is represented by a clean and intuitive layout, where you can open files by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method. It is possible to open documents in multiple tabs.
Aside from the file's content, you can view a table of contents, bookmarks, thumbnails and highlights, as well as use a search function. Furthermore, you can rotate the pages or export the document to an image (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG), use a hand or selection tool, as well as synchronize contents. In addition, you can save a copy of the document, switch to full screen mode, change the page layout, split the window into two panes, as well as send files via email.
Plenty of configuration settings are available in the Options screen. For instance, you can switch to another language for the UI, make file associations, customize the navigation tabs, edit document properties (e.g. paper size, margin, measurement unit), reconfigure shortcuts, as well as choose another skin for the tabs, just to name a few.
STDU Viewer Portable requires a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and works fine, without causing any problems. The app did not hang, crash or alert of us of any error notifications during our tests. All in all, STDU Viewer Portable offers the possibility of viewing files of various types, and it should be seamlessly figured out by all users, thanks to its intuitive layout.
