StickyView is an easy-to-use application that gives you the possibility to put together slideshows with JPEG photos from different directories in just a couple of steps. It doesn't include complex options or customization settings, making it accessible to all kinds of users.

Easy installer and intuitive GUI

Setting it up takes minimal time and effort, since there are no unfamiliar options, software requirements, or third-party offers bundled with the installer.
When it comes to the interface, StickyView adopts a standard window with a plain and simple interface, where you can specify up to four folders to scan for JPEG images and automatically add all found files to the slideshow list.

Create slideshows and edit properties

You can view the full path of each item, along with the total found files and verified directories. When it comes to slideshow settings, you can adjust the delay time, play the images sequentially or randomly without repeating them, open images, as well as start the slideshow with the click of a button.
There are no settings implemented for saving the slideshow to file, so you will have to resort to another program if you're interested in performing that kind of task.

Evaluation and conclusion

Tasks were carried out fast in our tests, during which the utility remained light on system resources consumption, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. We haven't come across any stability issues, since it didn't cause the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors.
On the other hand, the tool hasn't received updates for a long time and doesn't integrate richer features for advanced PC users looking for more control over slideshows. Nevertheless, you can test StickyView for yourself, since it's free.
