Task Time Estimator (TTE) Description

Efficient time management is sure to boost chances of success for all activity types. In case you’re using a computer for tasks, there are various dedicated applications with which to time events in order to get an idea of how well you handle your work. As such, Task Time Estimator (TTE) comes as a suitable example to help track tasks.

Customize activity type and start time

It gets installed in little time, letting you check out the set of features before you realize. Multiple tasks can be created which are saved in a list. You can track more tasks at a time, because progress is manually added until the job is done.
There are four steps when creating a new task. General details refer to the name, number of task, and total number of steps to reach the end. By default, activity type is set to reading books, but task names and activities can easily be changed to suit your domain of work. You can also set the time to have the task started in case you’re not attending to it right away.

Track multiple tasks and adjust progress

When started, a detail pane shows up. Here you can view current time, estimated time based on each step you add towards completion, remaining time, average time per job, as well as the step number and how many are left. Steps are manually added one at a time, and a progress slider shows current status, updating with each step. Moreover, you can customize amount you punch in, current job, and how many are left.
A task can’t be stopped though, even though you return to the main window. Closing the application is the only way to cease the counter. Unfortunately, you can’t generate a report, or at least save task details to file to keep a record and history of events.

A few last words

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Task Time Estimator (TTE) might not be packed with a whole variety of edit options, but is sure to at least let you know how well you fare with everyday tasks. Multiple tasks can be tracked at a time, but it would have been good to see an export option.
