When it comes to picture viewers, the Internet is filled with all sort of applications and programs that you could use. One of them is ViewPoint.
It's a very useful software solution that helps you view images on your computer and create a slideshow with them. It has some tools and features, but it would have been nice if it had some more.

Simple and intuitive graphical interface

The application installs quickly and it sports a really intuitive and neat graphical interface that allows you to navigate through various sections easily.
It also comes with a help menu that contains links to the developer's website, which is filled with all sort of tips and instructions. It doesn't have any customization options or settings that you could adjust to make the application your own.

View images on your computer

The split-screen gives you access to a tree-view, making it easy to navigate through various files and folders on your computer. Simply click on one folder and the application displays its content and allows you to preview images.
You can use some search filters and allow the application to display jpeg, gif, bmp, png or tiff files. It also comes with the tools to create new folders on your computer and organize images. You can preview files and then add them to a list for creating a slideshow.

Some more features and tools

It comes with the option to zoom in or out on your pictures and you can rotate them easily if you want. The application allows you to use two ways in which it displays images, either best fit or actual size.
You can also view images in a slideshow, but it doesn't come with the option to set the time interval or pick a transition effect. All in all, ViewPoint is a useful application for viewing images in a slideshow, but it definitely needs some more tools and features.
