Furthermore, you are allowed to set the video device properties, by specifying the video source (PAL, NTSC, and others), picking the pixel format (I420, YUY2) and frame size, as well as applying cropping options to remove the black bars, and adjusting the levels of brightness, contrast, hue and saturation.
