BPM Description
Music is dictated by a whole variety of technical details as well, so making it isn’t simply the experience of an artist. Processing audio files might imply knowing the exact beats per minute. As such, BPM comes as a lightweight tool with which to generate custom BMP tones, and even record them to file.
Can be used on the go
Although the application takes you through a setup process first, you can also deploy it on a thumb drive in case you want to use it on other computers. This is because it doesn’t bind itself to registry entries in order to function, so you can rest assured that the health status of the target PC is not put at risk.
On the visual side of things, the application wants to make it easy for beginners and experienced individuals to quickly get the hang of things. The window is split into a couple of sections, one which is used for the generator component, while the other holds the necessary controls to initiate recording sessions.
Easy to configure timer and recorder
Activating the generator component is a walk in the park. Most effort on your behalf consists of writing down the desired beats per minute value, which can be nearly anything between 0 and 1000, which is way more than the standard values for music.
As far as the recording component goes, you don’t need a connected microphone to fulfill this task. The application is automatically set to capture the buzzer only, with a dedicated drop-down menu to select the output audio quality and format. You can choose a delay, and to save the file to a custom location under the WAV format.
To sum it up
Taking everything into account, BPM is a straightforward tool you can use to create audio files of regular beats at a given interval. The built-in recorder is more than welcome, with the possibility to set a pretty flexible BMP range, and define the output quality.
