FoxArc Screen Capture Description
FoxArc Screen Capture is a small software application built specifically for helping you take screenshots. It comes in handy especially when you want to capture essential parts of your desktop and share them with your friends.
Simplistic layout
The tool reveals a minimalistic panel that embeds several handy buttons in order to help you capture the desired screen area. It implements an intuitive behavior, so even less experienced users can easily make the most out of every single built-in feature.
Taking snapshots
FoxArc Screen Capture gives you the possibility to capture the desired screen area, window or entire desktop. Additionally, you can make the application take screenshots in a full screen mode by simply pressing on the “PrtScn†button.
When it comes to saving options, you can export the image to JPG, BMP, PCX, PNG, PNM, or TIFF file format. Additionally, the program automatically reveals the taken photo in the main panel and enables you to save it to a user-defined location from your computer.
Performance
Tests have shown that FoxArc Screen Capture carries out a task quickly and provides good image quality. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
Where it falls short
On the downside, it doesn’t provide support for advanced features that could help you draw freehand designs on the screenshot using a pen and marker, insert pointers, embed text messages, set the image quality, enable sound notifications, and automatically take screenshots at a user-defined time.
Bottom line
All things considered, FoxArc Screen Capture proves to be a simplistic piece of software that comes bundled with limited features in order to help you take screenshots.
