JTR's Grooveshark Downloader

JTR's Grooveshark Downloader is a small Windows application developed to download files from Grooveshark.
Song downloaders usually come with plenty of options, but this isn't the case with JTR's Grooveshark Downloader. This means that rookies can use it just fine, especially thanks to the small number of features displayed in the main window.
There are no other configuration options available, but you don't even need any because the app was developed with the sole purpose of helping you download files from Grooveshark.
In this regard, you get a simple search box to type in your keyword, a dedicated option to choose the destination folder and a separate panel to show the results. Whenever a search is completed, JTR's Grooveshark Downloader shows the title, album and artist of each song.
A download information panel is also available in order to keep you up to date with the progress of each download. You can see the title, bitrate, speed and progress for each download.
JTR's Grooveshark Downloader works smoothly on all Windows versions and doesn't hamper system performance in any way, but the lack of more advanced configuration options could be a bit frustrating for experienced users.
The download speed is good, but you're not allowed to choose between different audio quality versions of the same song, which in some cases could mean that you're downloading a song that sounds terrible.
To sum up, JTR's Grooveshark Downloader can become a pretty helpful product, but it still needs a bunch of improvements in some key areas. The good thing is that it can be safely installed by absolutely any user category.
